About

This is an open event for the film industry, bringing together creators, producers, technicians and film lovers. Apart from screenings of the films competing for the different prizes, there is also a series of parallel activities which complements the festival programme.

Awards

• Award to the best international short film, endowed with € 6,500 and trophy.
• Award to the best national short film, endowed with € 3,000 and trophy.
• Audience Award for the best short film, worth € 2,500 and trophy 
• RTVE Award for the best Ibero-American short films, worth € 1,700 and trophy
• Award from the Association of Writers and Writers of Cinematography of Andalusia (ASECAN) for the best Andalusian short film, worth € 1,600 and a trophy.
• Prize of the Association of Journalists-Association of the Press of Almeria (AP-APAL) for the best Almerian short film, worth € 1,400 and a trophy. The jury of this award will be formed by professionals appointed by AP-APAL.
• Prize for the best script, endowed with € 500 and trophy.
• Cecilio Paniagua award for the best photograph, endowed with € 500 and a trophy.
• Gil Parrondo Award for the best artistic direction, worth € 500 and trophy.
• Award for the best female performance, worth € 500 and trophy.
• Award for the best male performance, endowed with € 500 and trophy.
• Special Prize for values ​​and human rights-Amnesty International, endowed with a trophy. This prize will be awarded by a jury appointed by Amnesty International

Rules

• The films should not last longer than 30 minutes (credits included);
• The production date must be after January 1, 2022.
• Film must have Spanish subtitles or the original script and a translation to Spanish or English must be included.
• Submission is to be made via Festhome.
