Lendoc Film Festival is an international film festival held in St. Petersburg since 2020 on the basis of the Lendoc Open Film Studio, aimed at supporting and developing interest in the cultural and ethnic wealth and diversity of the regions of Russia, CIS countries and neighboring countries, as well as creating joint film projects.

The LEFF program is formed from fiction and non-fiction films.

The festival connects:

- program of competitive and out-of-competition film screenings;

- a series of special events for a wide range of spectators;

- pitching of feature, non-fiction and animated feature films and serials with a high potential for co-production of the participating countries of the Festival;

- educational intensive program for pitching participants;

- a business program for directors of film organizations.

Awards

Festival Awards:

- Best Feature Film;
- Best Non-Fiction Film;
- Competition "lendoc start" for the best film among students of film schools;
- Prize of the Festival Organizing Committee for the best coproduction project.

Prizes from partners and sponsors of the Festival are also possible.

Rules

Applications are accepted until July 15, 2023. Basic requirements for films submitted for the competition:

• Films completed on or after January 1, 2022;
• The film must be filmed in Russian or have Russian subtitles;
• Participation in the Festival is free;
• Fiction and documentary films are accepted;
• Timing of feature films from 60 minutes, non-fiction films - from 20 minutes;
• Priority in the selection is given to films with the status of a Russian premiere, but this condition is not mandatory;
• Particular attention is paid to films co-produced by several participating countries;
• Films released in Russian distribution or available for viewing on the Internet or on online platforms are not allowed;
• The festival pays for the transportation and accommodation in the hotel of the authors of the films selected for the competition program;
• Films selected for the Festival program must comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation and meet generally accepted norms of morality and ethics.

Jury and Organizers

Фестиваль проводится по инициативе Открытой киностудии «Лендок» и АНО «Кинокультура» при поддержке Министерства культуры Российской Федерации.

Профессиональное жюри Фестиваля состоит из двух категорий: игрового и неигрового кино и формируется из деятелей искусства и представителей киноиндустрии по решению Оргкомитета. В каждой категории не менее 4 членов жюри.

В состав каждого жюри не могут входить лица, участвующие в создании или коммерческом прокате фильмов, показываемых в соответствующем конкурсе.
