About

The International Film and Television Festival "Taganay Muses" is held annually in the city of Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk region. It is attended by individual authors and studios of two age categories: children under 18 (competitive program) and adult authors (non-competitive program). The festival takes place in 2 stages: a qualifying competition and a full-time one.

The full-time stage of the festival is held from 26-30 June and includes film screenings, creative meetings, master classes, advanced training courses for studio managers and practical tasks - shooting films within the framework of the festival.

The awards of the festival are unique - gold medals and a cup inlaid with precious stones produced by Zlatoust master gunsmiths of the Rosoruzhie company.

Awards

1. Grand Prix of the festival;

2. gold medals - for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places;

3. special prizes from organizers, founders and sponsors.

Rules

1. The festival accepts non-commercial films, social videos, video clips, animated films, TV spots and programs;

2. Works that promote violence, antisocial behavior, as well as containing profanity are not accepted to the festival;

3. entries must be in Russian or have subtitles in Russian;

4. At the qualifying stage, the authors send no more than two competitive works (film, cartoon, video, plot or program) through a file hosting service. Recommended image parameters: Full HD (1920x1080) and HD (1280x720), bitrate - from 5000kbit/s to 25000kbit/s, compression type - H264, file format - any, except *.wmv and *.mov;

5. the presence of titles indicating authorship in the competitive work is mandatory;

6. The duration of the work participating in the qualifying stage of the competition should not exceed 20 minutes;

7. A studio may submit several works for the face-to-face contest, but their total running time should not exceed 10 minutes;

8. adult authors can submit their works for participation in the out-of-competition program. Films must be addressed to a children's audience with an age limit of up to 12 years, the length of the film must not exceed 30 minutes. These entries will only be accepted in DCP format.

Films that do not comply with the conditions of this regulation are not allowed to the festival.
