Cinego Shorts is a global digital platform with the sole purpose of bringing forth the art of independent cinema and visual arts worldwide

MUSIC ON THE MOVE (Short Program Online 2021)

We are curating the best music videos, documentaries, fiction, experimental & animation films based on the theme of Music to celebrate WORLD MUSIC DAY 2021.

No other genres or themes of films will be accepted. The event will take place on our website on June 19-21, 2021 and will be accessible globally without geo blocking.

All copyrights and intellectual properties belong to their authors and will be properly quoted. We are not responsible for any legal disputes and claims about the usage or promotion of film and music videos that were submitted to us for online screening.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Cinego have decided to host the event virtually, Please check our social media platforms for continuous updates.

Rules

CRITERIA & CATEGORIES
1. The festival theme is MUSIC and it is non-competitive in categories of fiction, documentary, experimental, animation and music videos.
2. The duration of the films should not exceed 25 minutes.
3. Music Video duration cannot exceed 07 minutes. By submitting your music video, you give Cinego Shorts the right to rebroadcast your music video at screening dates only. The selected videos will be offline from our website and social handles after screening. Your submission is a confirmation that you own the rights of the music video. We are not responsible for any legal dispute or claim pertaining to the usage or promotion of the music video that was submitted to us for online screening.
4. There is no entry fee for submission. English subtitles must be embedded in the film.
5. The participating films of the festival will be selected by the festival programmers. All selections will be posted on our website & social media pages.

CONTENT GUIDELINES
1. Content of the submitted film(s) should be creative and completely original including the sound/music used and should not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
2. Under no circumstances should the content of the films contain any offensive language, violence, religious content or hate speech, defamatory content, politically sensitive topics, material or comment and sexual innuendos or nudity.
3. Any film containing one or more of the above mentioned will be disqualified.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The submission theme is Music and there is no entry fee for submission.
2. Duration cannot exceed 25 minutes runtime for fiction and documentary and 07 minutes for music videos.
3. There is no restriction to the number of films & music videos that can be submitted by an individual or an entity. However, each submitted film requires a separate submission.
4. The festival may use up to 10 percent of the entry’s running time for promotional purposes.
5. Videos that have been broadcasted on television and/or are available to view in full online are still eligible for submission.
6. The festival will not bear any expenses for participants nor provide any screening fees.
7. Submitting your films/music videos to us is not a guarantee of selection.
8. We will communicate all details through email communications only, please give authorized email and respond to emails ASAP. No phone call inquires. All submissions will be notified via email of acceptance.
9. The decision of the programmers is final and not questionable.
10. Cinego Shorts reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any point and suspend and/or modify the event if necessary.
