The brilliant surgeon Alexander Lunin was wrongfully convicted for the death of his wife. He was sent to prison, gave up on life and cut off all ties with his loved ones. Released from prison, Lunin has to face the very thing he has been trying to keep out of his mind: his daughter Luna, now a drug addict, does not want anything to do with him. But Lunin has got nowhere to go, so he and Luna have to coexist under the same roof. Just after Luna finds out she is pregnant, her boyfriend Slavka decides to leave her. Overwhelmed with emotion, Luna jumps out of the window… She survives, but now she is in a coma. Lunin sees it his duty now to save his daughter and his future granddaughter. So he sets up a hospital ward at home — to bring his daughter (and himself) back…

Directors Statement

Our film is about how a person acts while confronted with the reality. The one who is right, acts boldly. The wrong is awkward. Though in our history the situation requires him to act strongly .... And he can't be any different... One thing of great interest to us is, and we want to talk about it... where does God's influence end, and the will of man starts? Where and how does conscience begin? What shall you do when you are not right and you understand it? What motivates to a simple human feat: love, devotion, honor, what else?
